St Marys, is a marching brass band based in Hinckley Leicestershire, we teach children from as young as 6 years old to play drums, bells, symbols and more recently we have started to use trumpets, clarinets and other valve instruments. We formed 10 years ago as a novice band, each year we have entered the National Band Competition which is held at Hinckley leisure centre in May, over the years we have won and progressed from a novice band to a championship band and hopefully this year with the introduction of valved instruments we are aiming to be supreme champions.
